Specialties: Group therapy services for preschoolers, teens, and young adults who struggle with casual conversation, reading nonverbal cues, interacting with peer groups, and other social communication skills. Children, teens, young adults and adults with social communication difficulties related to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, or related challenges can benefit from this evidence-based social skills intervention, and research shows positive long-term outcomes for participants. Participants will learn social skills including developing and maintaining friendships, conversational skills, using humor appropriately, organizing get-togethers, handling disagreements and more.

Approaches: PEERS groups for Adolescents and PEERS groups for teens run virtually for 16 weeks, one 90-minute session a week; parents attend separate sessions simultaneously. PEERS virtual boot camps contain 35 pre-recorded episodes geared to children, teens, young adults, parents, professionals and educators. Video role-play demonstrations and suggestions for practicing skills are included in every episode.
